Breed Standard
Toygers are a designer breed developed to resemble a miniature tiger — bold, dark broken vertical stripes over a rich orange or mahogany background, smaller rounded ears preferred, and a muscular, athletic body. They are a medium-sized cat weighing anywhere from 6-15 pounds, males larger than females.
History
The look of a tiger sized perfectly for your home! The Toyger was created in the 1980s by breeder Judy Sugden to raise awareness of tiger conservation. The Toyger was accepted for TICA Championship status in 2007. Every generation is carefully bred toward that iconic wild-tiger look.
Temperment
Playful, confident, and deeply people-oriented. Toygers often follow their families room to room, learn tricks, walk on a harness, and get along with children, dogs, and other cats.
TICA Registered
All of our Toygers are registered with TICA (The International cat Association).
